A Journal Tag In The Big 2026?

Today one of my TikTok videos was me going to DeviantArt to try to capture some of the magic that WAS a DeviantArt drawing meme— something I couldn’t do on TikTok was explore how fun the JOURNAL memes and tags were.

These were just little questionnaires we’d all fill out about ourselves so people could get to know us better—- they were big on tumblr and stuff for a while too. So I just figured I would take the opportunity to do one here for yall too, because it’s been a while. :)

This is one I ripped right from my old page—- which is crazy because now I can look at the answers side by side and that’s definitely doing something to my psyche—- but we can unpack that sometime later.

Anyway, happy Sunday, here you go:

1. How old will you be in five years?

33!! (Omg??? For context the answer on this one original said 20. )

2. Who did you spend at least two hours with today?

My husband, my dog, my co-workers.

3. How tall are you?

5’5~5’6-ish! Not crazy short, not crazy tall. I do need a stool to reach some of those kitchen cabinets though.

4. What do you look forward to most in the next six weeks?

Lots of cool movies are coming out, it’ll be summertime, my garden should be growing really tall around then—- lots of stuff. :)

5. What's the last movie you saw?

I took my friend Nathan to see Project Hail Mary!!!

6. Who was the last person you called?

My husband!

7.Who was the last person to call you?

Also my husband!

8. What was the last text message you received?

A guy from a job interview where there was DRAMA so I didn’t pick up the phone on purpose.

10. Do you prefer to call or text?

Text unless it’s something super important/urgent.

11. What were you doing at 12am last night?

Drinking some tea and enjoying the thunderstorm with my dog—- who was NOT enjoying the thunderstorm.

12. Are your parents married/separated/divorced?

Divorced.

13. When is the last time you saw your mom?

Not too long ago. She came to see the house and we went to dinner with my sister.

14. What color are your eyes?

A light blue? Hazel? Idk, truly.

15. What time did you wake up today?

5:30am :’)

16. What are you wearing right now?

Black boots, bllack jeans, green work shirt, grey oversized hoodie ontop and my glassessss.

17. What is your favorite Christmas song?

None of them because I work retail.

18. Where is your favorite place to be?

In my office/studio, outside in my yard, or the lake. :)

19. Where is your least favorite place to be?

The grocery store. (This was the OG answer as well lmfao.)

20. Where would you go if you could go anywhere?

Colorado, Chicago, New York, Japan, literally any hot pot restaurant.

21. Where do you think you'll be in 10 years?

Hopefully? Probably working a booth at a convention/festival, selling some art and hanging out. :)

Or I’ll be at my house eating chips from the bag. One or the other.

22. Do you tan or burn?

Ohhhhh. I burn. Horribly. (This was the OG answer also lol!)

23. What did you fear was going to get you at night as a child?

I literally don’t know. I would picture like really nasty looking ghosts/monsters. I just didn’t like the dark and my brain would do the thing everyone’s does where it just tried to make sense of the shapes when it can’t see and it was always freaky, haha.

24. What was the last thing that really made you laugh?

26. How big is your bed?

King!

27. Do you have a laptop or desktop computer?

Laptop!

29. What color are your sheets?

They're black! But I wish I had cuter ones.

30. How many pillows do you sleep with?

A lot, lol. Minimum is 3. But it’s because I have old pillows and none of them keep shape like I like so I gotta stack em to lay in the right position.

31. What is your favorite season?

Summer/Fall!!!! I get too miserable in the winter now that I’m older lmfao.

32. What do you like about fall?

The crunchy leaves, the smell of people having bonfires, cinnamon being a primary spice.

33. What do you like about the winter?

Watching the snow pass through street lights at night!!! Plus I like being cold significantly more than being hot.

34. What do you like about the summer?

Windows open, fireflies, my garden is at its peak and it’s prime swimming in the lake time!!!

35. What do you like about spring?

Dandelions start poking up everywhere, the birds come back, and I get to plant seeds.

36. How many states provinces have you lived in?

Including short term? 4!

Long term only? 1!

37. What cities/towns have you lived in?

Ohio for long term, Colorado, Arizona and West Virginia for short term.

38. Do you prefer shoes, socks, or bare feet?

Socks usually, actually!

39. Are you a social person?

I can be! I think it just depends on the overall vibe, and the day I guess lol.

40. What was the last thing you ate?

Some ice cream!

41. What is your favorite restaurant?

Any place with a good birria taco.

Cookie dough!

I really like cheesecake!

Grape! But strawberry and blueberry for like everything else lol.

Yes!!!!!!

Yeah, not to be too millennial but I literally can’t function without caffeine lol.

3 or 4? I have a big water bottle and usually I down like two of those plus a little glass before bed. I just like water. :’)

Coffee or tea!

50. What non-banking related card in your wallet is the most valuable to you?

Uhhhhh my library card??? My bigby rewards card mayhaps as a close second lol?

51. Do you sleep on a certain side of the bed?

I sleep closest to the wall and farthest from the door. :’)

52. Do you know how to play poker?

Nope! people have tried to explain it to me a million times over and I just do not get it. I do blackjack and some other card games p well though!

53. Do you like to cuddle?

It depends.

54. Have you ever been to Canada?

No—- but soon.

55. Do you have an addictive personality?

Yeah, I would say so. Sometimes it’s troublesome.

56. Do you eat out or at home more often?

Uhhhh a good mix, actually.

57. What do you miss about highschool, if anything?

Seeing my friends everyday!!!

Not personally—- but Hayley Williams and Hinata from Naruto both have my birthday lol.

Absolutely not.

I’m really bad at Spanish, so no, not really. But I’m working on it!!!

Yes! More than once lol.

Almost!

63. Do you prefer an ocean or a pool?

I’ve never been to the ocean, so I guess I have to say pool?

64. Do you prefer a window seat or an aisle seat?

Window seat. I listen to music during car rides and stuff, I space out because I start thinking while I do it.

It looks a lot less awkward if I'm looking out the window instead of staring at the back of someones seat when I do. (This is the OG answer and is still true so I’m leaving it!)

Nope!

66. What is your favorite thing to spend money on?

Probably art supplies!

I wear a bunch of rings. I have like a sentimental ring stack thing going on.

I have too many to narrow down tbh.

A couple are like—- The X-Files, Scrubs, HIMYM, The Bear.. etc..

No, but I used to be able to so idk what’s up with that!

Idk girl I know a lot of funny people actually.

Nope, but I for sure used to!

Omg!!! I haven’t had a custom ringtone in forever! I think it’s just the dumb default apple tone. I should change it.

I don’t think so! My mom might have some of my old stuff but I didn’t personally keep anything.

A blanket!

Yeah.

Closed. Bc who keeps their closet open all the time????

Probably the bees I guess because bears are notoriously bad at killing things— the bees should be pretty quick.

Nah. Im not suave like that. :’)

Nope! But definitely have gotten parking tickets before.

I wake up like insanely early so I try to keep it to like 11-ish but sometimes I’m up later.

Nope, we don’t actually get physical papers where I live.

I had Wired for a long time!

Not really.

I don't think I've ever actually gone to church?

My husband got me tickets to a concert I’d been talking about.

I know it was fun to go through for me—- I liked comparing my answers to little me’s answers a lot. Hopefully now you feel like you know me a little better now too, lol.
