Howdy! Just popping in to show you where I'm at this week. Full disclosure, it's been a bit of a rouge one already--- I'm a little behind where I would like to be on these, but I guess I just have to remind myself it isn't a race. Anyway, first thing's first--- y'all saw this mood board for this week + last week:

It's kind of like a nature vs. nurture piece. I'm finally kind of cementing what I want it to look like in my head and the colors I'd like to use, so I had to start the base layering--- as of TODAY this painting is just BIG PINK:

Kinda anti-climactic, I know--- but I promise now that this part is done and I have a rough idea I'm gonna sit down at some point this weekend and crank this one out. I'm really looking forward to making some actual progress on this one. :) Also this week I made a really quick return to printmaking with some of my beloved kitchen lithography. <3 I made two separate foil plates and they both rolled up pretty well--- this one here is the only one of them that I have an actual idea for how to move forward with though:

I'm hoping to touch this one up a bit and turn it into something cool so that I can use it as a mini-print I'll utilize at my upcoming cons. :) But more details on that and how it'll work some other time... the other print I made was this one:

WHICH I ADORE! I think the face turned out so sweetly--- I have a really vauge idea on how I might clean this up, but part of me is still unsure on if I'd like to to that or if I'd like to just leave it alone... We'll see by next week for sure, haha. But that's all I've really got this time around--- plus the two or three ideas I'm in the scrap booking phase rn with. What are YOU working on this week? Taya
